Comprehensive Institutional Breakdown
Featured in Ebook Section 2 and Section 5. Professional traders never guess position size based on balance or gut feel. Position size is calculated strictly backward from the dollar distance to your stop-loss.
Carl Brent Anthony Institutional Rule
Position Size = (Account Balance × 0.015) ÷ |Entry Price - Invalidation Price|.
Algorithmic Formula / Notation
Units = (Account Balance × 0.015) ÷ Stop Distance in Dollars
Institutional Scenario Example
On a $25,000 account, 1.5% risk is $375. If entering stock at $100 with stop at $95 ($5 risk), buy exactly 75 shares ($375 ÷ $5).
Cross-Market & Execution Note
Calculates shares for Stocks, contracts for Crypto perps, and lots for Forex.
